Car fire in an adress off Main Rd, Hawthorndene this morning... Attended by Coro 24P and Bwd CAFS. fire as a result of mechanical fault in a Citreon Xsara.

crews attended from coro vy, and blackwood for the mid-morning job, that pulled major crash investigators when it was learned that the dirver had already attempted to crash into the bank/poles earlier up the road then after having no sucess crashed into the next car... which was still unsucessful in killing her...

A few pics from a MAZDA MX6 Vs RANGE ROVER 4WD (with bullbar...) - seems the mazda forgot the road rules and didnt give way... this ended with it being shunted out of the way and up onto the embankment... where it balanced nicely on one wheel.... Coro 24p and 24 attended along with support from Blackwood Rescue.

on Monday 16th January at 1331 a member of the public reported a scrub and grassfire at Range Rd West, Willunga - crews initially responded from Willunga and Mclaren Vale, and reqeusted the assistance of both aerial bombers and strike teams.... these pictures were taken by the members of Coromandel Valley Brigade, who attended in 24P, as a part of the Sturt Group Strike Team. Total Area burnt was approx 400Ha of grass and native scrub...
